Aldi Halloumi Cheese Fries

Aldi Halloumi fries are great for people on a low carb or Keto diet. I like to serve these with some Rao’s marinara sauce for dipping and they cook great in the air fryer.

If you’re looking for more ideas and recipes to make with this cheese check out some ideas below. If you want even more head on over to the Aldi Nerd Faebook Recipe group.

What is Halloumi Cheese?

Halloumi or haloumi is a traditional Cypriot cheese made from a mixture of goat's and sheep's milk, and sometimes also cow's milk.

Halloumi Cheese in Air Fryer

My air fryer only took 7 minutes to cook the cheese at 350 degrees. Depending on the brand or size of your air fryer you may need to cook them longer. If the cheese doesn’t look cooked after 7 minutes take them out and flip them to cook for 5 minutes.

Don't be alarmed if this happens in the air fryer and the cheese fries start sticking together. Just use a pair of tongs or a fork to get them out and unstick them.

Halloumi Cheese in Frying Pan

Just grill the halloumi cheese in a pan until golden brown on each side. You can drizzle them with hot honey from Aldi. It’s kind of like cooking toast in a frying pan. Flip until golden brown!
