Blackstone Pancakes (High Protein)
These Blackstone pancakes are loaded with 34 grams of protein and are made on an outdoor griddle or flat top. Top them off with some maple syrup or fresh fruit.
Been making these protein pancakes with blended cottage cheese for a while now and I'm finally sharing them on this blog. They are super fun to make outdoors as well on a Blackstone Griddle or Ninja Woodfire Grill.
I just recently purchased a Ninja Woodfire Grill that has 5 different settings. It's perfect for a family of two. If you're a larger family make this on a Black Stone Griddle instead.

- Cottage cheese, blended - Cottage cheese is a great source of protein and it's getting all the rage right now. The cottage cheese gets whipped up in a food processer.

How to Make Pancakes on a Blackstone
Step 1: Add the cottage cheese to a blender. Blend well until it’s very smooth.
Step 2: Then add the pancake mix, egg whites, and egg. Blend again until well combined.
Please Note: This step can get rather messy.
Step 3: Preheat a Blackstone or griddle on medium-high heat.
Step 4: Add the batter to the griddle 3 at a time. Cook the pancakes 2 to 3 minutes per side and flip after the tops become bubbly.
Enjoy with a sugar-free maple syrup and mixed berries on the top.
Note: You can do this also on a Ninja Wood Fire Grill. Use the griddle plate attachment for this grill. Set the grill setting to high heat and the timer for about 15 minutes. It will take about 20 minutes to cook all the pancakes on the griddle.
What can I serve with pancakes?
Scrambled eggs are great on a Blackstone (recipe coming soon) or How to Make Bacon on a Blackstone.
Make some Sugar Free Strawberry Sauce to serve over the pancakes.
This 5 Ingredient Egg and Hash Brown Casserole also goes great with these pancakes.
Pancake Toppings: Maple Syrup, Jam, mixed berries or fruit, chocolate chips, Cool Whip Topping, or Whipped Heavy Cream.
First you need to season and clean your Bllackstone every time you use it. Then you can use either butter, olive oil, or a Cooking spray before adding the pancake to the griddle.
This is a personal preference. Use whatever type of oil, spray, or butter you like.
Always store leftovers in clean, food-grade containers. The type of container doesn’t really matter. Use zip lock, glass, plastic, whatever! Make sure to store any leftovers in an airtight container.
